Our wonderful wilderness lodges are located on the shores of South Loch Awe amidst over 100 acres of natural woodland bursting with wildlife where you can spot Osprey, White Tailed Sea Eagles, Golden Eagles, Pine Marten, Red Squirrel and the famous Highland Cattle and wild Deer.

We offer a rustic retreat  for you, your family and friends to enjoy and  these environmental friendly lodges offer tranquil surroundings in a fantastic location all with Loch views. One ,Two and Three Bedroom lodges available for sale. Hot tubs and Sauna's with all two and three bedroom lodges.

Why not take the time to escape and discover the tranquility and picturesque countryside of Portsonachan which is situated just outside of Dalmally.  Loch Awe is 28 miles in length and is the longest fresh water Loch in the UK and is known as "The Jewel in Argyll's Crown".  It also has the largest Brown Trout catches in the British Isles.

How to get there

From Glasgow: Take the A82 north signposted to Crianlarich. At Tarbert take the A83 to Inverary passing the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar at Cairndo At Inverary take the A819 ,signposted to Oban and Crianlarich, travelling through Glen Aray for approximately 10 miles Turn left onto the B840 signposted to Claditch and Ford. Follow the road for approximately 4 miles ,arriving at Portsonachan.

Just returned from a lovely relaxing stay in a one bedroom lodge. We loved the quiet, calm setting and view from our lodge. Our favourite part of the day was our early morning walks along the loch shore - sunset wasn’t at all bad either. Staff at hotel were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was excellent. There was a lot on offer from the hotel from their excellent eat in, eat on the terrace (with outdoor terrace heaters) or takeaway menu to fishing, boat trips and loads of helpful information about walking in the area. Getaway from it all We love this place and this was our 6th visit and this time introduced friends to it and they loved it too and will most definitely return. Its always a relaxing peaceful place to come at anytime

What a fantastic holiday! Loch views from our lodge are awesome. we spent hours sitting on the veranda enjoying this tranquil view. The lodges are well equipped with a Hot tub and Sauna . The Hotel on site offers great meals and a cosy bar with a lovely fireplace to enjoy our drinks. Retuarant views over the loch are fantastic.
