Tingdene Homes is delighted to announce that they have been recognised as one of the London Stock Exchange Group’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’. The annual report showcases the UK’s most inspiring and fastest growing companies with the shortlist criteria including companies that are ‘outperforming their sector peers’. The report aims to highlight the UK’s most dynamic companies and demonstrate how diverse the UK economy is with over 40 sectors being included.
As a market leader in the design and manufacture of park homes and holiday lodges, Tingdene are thrilled to have been identified as one of these select few inspiring companies. Over the years, Tingdene has built a reputation for delivering high-quality build homes and lodges with an excellent level of customer service to both developers and consumers alike.
Tingdene is still privately owned after nearly 50 years of business and offers employment to over 200 staff throughout its office and factory premises. This number continues to grow as the demand for production grows exponentially, so much so that Tingdene recently invested £3.5m in the extension and development of their manufacturing plant. The additional space and state-of-the art manufacturing technology has allowed the team to innovate and explore new ideas bringing to the table a host of exciting new projects and ground-breaking designs.
This culture and desire to revolutionise the industry has lent itself well to developing concepts such as the newly launched Loft holiday lodge. As a result Tingdene’s brand portfolio has been extended to include THL Modular, a modular solutions provider which has begun by offering The Loft as its signature structure. The steel A-frame, two-storey holiday home has been launched into new sectors opening up the market for Tingdene. The structure is both LABC approved and built to UK building regulations meaning that Tingdene is now able to be involved in a completely new variety of developments and business ventures.
