Holiday Lodge and Log Cabin Parks in Ceredigion
With most of the county occupying the West Coast, you will find some of the whitest sandy beaches in the UK particularly the coast from Aberporth to New Quay.
With little or no discharge from industrial plants this coast is the only permanent summer home for bottle nosed dolphins in the UK. Also over 5000 Atlantic grey seals, worth taking a dolphin survey boat trip to learn about the volunteers who work on maintaining the Special Area of Conservation.
The main activities in this county are fishing, golf, cycling and walking. The Devil’s Bridge Falls comprising three bridges where the River Mynach cascades over 300 feet below. The RSPB Ynyshir Nature reserve with woodlands, wet grassland and saltmarshes where ducks and geese reside in winter then in summer, lapwings and redshanks.
More things to do include a visit to Aberystwyth Arts Centre, The National Library of Wales, Llanerchaeron Georgian mansion or even catch a steam train from Aberystwyth to Devil’s Bridge.
