Holiday rentals and lodges for sale in Shetland.
The Shetland Islands are made up of over 100 islands, of which only 15 are inhabited, closer to Norway than mainland Scotland. This is in evidence by the old Norse language that is widely used. Throughout the islands there are many archaeological sites and ruins.
The scenery is quite unlike anywhere else, miles of beaches and crystal clear shores. Things to do include the Shetland Museum and Archives, Jarlshof, Fair Isle Bird Observatory and a few wild encounters along the way.
