The Llyn Peninsula is one of North Wales' scenic jewels. With miles of unadulterated golden sandy beaches, internationally recognised sailing waters, and the nearby majestic Snowdon Mountain and renowned Snowdonia National Park, Crugan is undeniably one of North Wales' most peaceful parks - and your rural and coastal idyll. Crugan is also ideally located near to the picturesque village of Llanbedrog, with its beautiful safe beach just perfect for bathing, windsurfing, sailing, or just relaxing and watching the world go by. The beach is the most sheltered in Wales nestling under a rocky headland and fringed by pine trees and with its own beach-side bistro for the perfect alfresco lunch. The superb Abersoch golf course is one of the finest in the area and the local fishing offers wonderful sport for all.
The immediate area is a walkers paradise. One particular highlight is the panoramic view from the top of the local mountain, Mynydd Tir y Cwmwd, Llanbedrog Headland, where you will also see an astounding piece of modern sculpture entitled the "Tin Man". A short drive takes you to Garn Fadryn, the central mountains of the peninsula with fantastic coastal views left and right. There’s so much to do in the surrounding area that you will truly be spoiled for choice.
