Nestled in the picturesque village of Pensilva, Higher Charaton Park provides immediate access to the local shops, playing fields and a community centre which conveniently houses a gym, bar, café and post office; there's also a public house a stones throw away, well known for hearty local food!

Liskeard is just short of 5 miles to the south and offers further amenities and facilities including larger shops, restaurants, public houses, supermarkets and a popular and well equipped leisure center with pool.

If all of this isn't enough, the famous, historical city of Plymouth is approximately 20 miles away and has a theatre, 4D cinema, large shopping centers and an incredible Aquarium. This is also the home of the breath-taking areas, The Hoe and Barbican.

Local tourist attractions in close proximity of the Park include the fishing villages of Looe, Polperro, Mevagissey and Fowey. Looe has a fish market, Moorings and a slipway for sailing or even paddle boarding.

Higher Charaton is located on the edge of Bodmin Moor which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with enhanced public access and is the first AONB with international dark skies in 2017.

The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan in the St Austell area make ideal day trips along with the National Trust properties of Lanhydrock at Bodmin and Antony House, Torpoint. Both with stunning gardens & grounds to discover.

Further into Cornwall, there are many attractions including Land’s End, St Michael’s Mount, Penzance, and the Minack Theatre.

Foodies will love the North Cornwall coast and from Higher Charaton is an ideal day trip! With Padstow, known for its Rick Stein’s restaurants, Port Isaac made famous by the television program Doc Martin, and incredible surfing beaches including Polzeath.

It’s time, to make time…

The park has a 12-month holiday licence which means you can use the home throughout the year, every year, however, the home cannot be used as your primary residence.

As the owner of the home and the land it sits on at Higher Charaton you are more than welcome to sublet the home.

Nestled in the Cornish countryside, Higher Charaton Park is perfectly placed for your holiday base. With views that stretch far and wide over Dartmoor, from the serene views on atop Bodmin to the luscious valleys along the River Tamar. Everything you need is a stone’s throw from the park, including a local farm shop, public house & Community Hall.

The park itself is an amazing combination of luxury, tranquillity, and peacefulness. With only 6 freehold plots available, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
