We have a small shop onsite, selling basics and we also have a pop up café on weekends serving breakfasts and afternoon teas during the summer months.
We are lucky to have an abundance of quality and well supported eateries close to Hillcrest Park: Caldwell has the Brownlow Arms, dog friendly and serving great pub food; Winston has the Bridgewater Arms, a superb fish restaurant - both within 1.5miles. Whorlton has the dog friendly and attractive Fernaville's Rest; plus we have Debbie's Chip shop in Gainford, a local favourite! All within 3 miles of us. Slightly further afield (well, all of 8 miles!) is The Raby Hunt, a 2 Michelin starred restaurant voted one of the top 50 restaurants in the UK last year.
Headlam Hall, with its gorgeous spa and picturesque 9 hole golf course, is just a 5 minute drive away as is Barnard Castle, the pretty market town. Richmond, with its historical centre and amenities is only 20 minutes away, as are Darlington (with its mainline station) and Scotch Corner - so although in a quiet, rural area we are still close to plenty of transport links and amenities.
