Maes Mynan Park is our exclusive new holiday leisure park development set in over 100 acres of stunning Welsh countryside, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in a quiet corner of Flintshire, North Wales.

Once a former sand and gravel quarry, Maes Mynan Park is a hidden gem within easy access of the main A55 North Wales Expressway. It is easy to get to, whilst still being off the beaten track. The stunning rustic countryside boasts magnificent kaleidoscope views across hills, woodland, lakes, and moorland.

All our lodge plots offer elevated views across one of two lakes, spacious surroundings and large gardens, with an abundance of visible nature inspired beauty as far as the eye can see. Picture-perfect views from the comfort of your armchair are living paintings that change with the light and seasons. These are just some wonders offered by the location of each lodge plot at Maes Mynan Park.

As a new holiday park development, we are able to offer those seeking a new holiday home the opportunity to choose their plot and view, before deciding on their perfect bespoke lodge. We have two show bespoke lodges to view and buy too.

We are happy to work with a number of lodge manufacturers, but currently have built slots with Wessex Omar for bespoke lodges.

Maes Mynan Park has an interesting cultural past too. Centuries before it was a quarry, it belonged to the last Princes of Wales, Henry VII, Henry VIII, Lords of Mostyn and farmers with philanthropic tendencies.

In fact, the views are so spectacular the farmers in the early 20th century called the area Little Switzerland because the views across the meadows, hills, and woodland reminded them of Alpine pastures.

Today you can see cattle grazing on the highlands opposite, adding to the tranquil ambience of the parkland we have spent the last 7 years transforming, so that we may share this special location with others.

We have a range of lodge plots and holiday home plots to choose from and two bespoke lodges available to view and buy.

In addition, we have a separate static caravan park area within a wooded enclave of Maes Mynan Park overlooking the Clwydian Range. We have a range of luxury holiday homes for sale on our show ground, including:- the new ABI Westwood Lodge and the Willerby Waverley Lodge. Coming soon we have the Swift Moselle Lodge, Willerby Vogue Classique Lodge and Vendee Lodge.

If you have a looking for a holiday home in North Wales which offers a quiet countryside escape for your UK based staycations and weekend getaways, then Maes Mynan Park could be what you are looking for.

Additional information

You can also walk off-road on safe public footpaths to Caerwys, the smallest town in the UK with a Royal Charter, for morning coffee, lunch, dinner, a tipple, or two, or a walk around Glasfryn Art Gallery.

As custodians of this special place, we work in harmony with the natural beauty of the Park and its stunning location, where nature, woodland, wildlife, and birds are in abundance.

Maes Mynan Park is located 4 miles from junction 31 of the A55 If travelling westbound on the A55 North Wales Expressway from Cheshire, Merseyside, Manchester, Stafford or Birmingham, exit at junction 31 and take the first exit to the left at the top of the slip road. This road will be signposted Caerwys on the B5112. Travel along the B5112 for approximately 2 miles until you enter the Town of Caerwys. Travel through the town, following the road all the way until you reach the junction with the A541 at Afonwen. Turn Right at the junction and head towards Denbigh. Continue for half a mile.
