Maes Mynan Park is our exclusive new holiday leisure park development set in over 100 acres of stunning Welsh countryside, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) in Flintshire, North Wales. Once described as the "Arcadia Of Wales if not England" in the 1870's, it's views need to be seen to be believed.
Once a former sand and gravel quarry, Maes Mynan Park is a hidden gem within easy access of the main A55 North Wales Expressway. It is easy to get to, whilst still being off the beaten track and the stunning rustic countryside boasts magnificent kaleidoscope views across hills, woodland, lakes and moorland.
All our lodge plots offer elevated views across one of two lakes, spacious surroundings and large gardens, with an abundance of visible nature inspired beauty as far as the eye can see. Picture perfect views from the comfort of your armchair are living paintings that change with the light and seasons. These are just some of the wonders offered by the location of each lodge plot at Maes Mynan Park.
As a new holiday park development, we are able to offer those seeking a new holiday home the opportunity to choose their plot and view, before deciding on their perfect bespoke lodge. We work with a range of UK luxury lodge manufacturers, including Aspire, Prestige Homeseeker, Omar Wessex, Tingdene and Pathfinder, so that our customers can choose a holiday home that meets their style, needs and expectations.
Maes Mynan Park has an interesting cultural past too. Centuries before it was a quarry, it belonged to the last Princes of Wales, two Tudor Kings, Lords of Mostyn and farmers with philanthropic tendencies. In fact the views are so spectacular the farmers in the early 20th century called the area Little Switzerland because the views across the meadows, hills and woodland reminded them of Alpine pastures. Today you can see cattle grazing on the highlands opposite, adding to the tranquil ambiance of the parkland we have spent the last 5 years transforming, so that we may share this special location with others.
We have 21 lodge plots available to choose from and one bespoke 2 bed 42ft x 20ft Prestige Homeseeker Lodge for Sale, called The LLewelyn Lodge - so named after the last Medieval Princes of Wales.
In addition we have a separate static caravan park area within a wooded enclave of Maes Mynan Park overlooking the Clwydian Range. Pitches will be available to reserve later this year, ready for the 2021 season.
If you have a holiday home in mind and are looking for a quiet countryside escape for your UK based staycations and weekend getaways, then come and see us at Maes Mynan Park and let's explore together a lodge and holiday home that will suit your dream holiday lifestyle.
