The Pond Lodges is a collection of studio lodges at Barstobrick near Ringford in Dumfries and Galloway. Set beside a wildlife-rich pond, the lodges look across the countryside, with horses grazing nearby. It suits couples looking for a quieter break in south west Scotland.

Comfortable lodges

The studio lodges sleep two and have an en-suite shower room, kitchenette and outdoor seating area. Guests can choose certain lodges with a hot tub. Wi-Fi is available, and a freshly prepared breakfast hamper can be delivered in the morning. On-site parking is available. 

Things to do

There is plenty to explore at Barstobrick, including walking trails and the Galloway Faerie Trail. Pony trekking is available on the estate, with routes through the local countryside. Kirkcudbright, known for its galleries, harbour and independent shops, and Castle Douglas, the area’s food town, are both nearby. Threave Castle and Threave Garden are nearby places to visit too.
