Wheelchair friendly parks

Buying or finding a Wheelchair Friendly holiday lodge or log cabin on a holiday park these days is easier than you might expect.

The beauty of bespoke lodge manufacturing allows for wider doors, accessible interior layouts, walk-in showers, and other accessible facilities you might need should you be disabled in some way and require that little bit of extra assistance to ensure you can enjoy your holiday break or using your own holiday home.

The lodge will have ramp access and low threshold doors to allow for wheelchair friendly access into the lodge.  The holiday park itself will generally offer full support for the wheelchair friendly access throughout its park layout including parking, pathways, access to club house and other facilities, as available.

The opportunity to enjoy the holiday park environment with your family, or friends, is therefore more available.  After all, why should your family, or friends, be the only ones to enjoy the superb holiday park environment in some stunning holiday lodges and log cabins.

The facilities offered will vary with each holiday park, as it will vary within each holiday lodge or log cabin. It is advisable to contact the park direct to clarify that the accessible aspect suit your specific needs, so you can then look forward to your Wheelchair Friendly Holiday.

In our newly designed and rebuilt website, online in September 2017, we have made it possible for our client parks to upload their access statements to give you an idea of what facilities are available prior to making that all important telephone call or email to enquire and confirm that the lodge is definitely suitable for your needs.

If you have made the decision to purchase a holiday lodge for regular use, the park owner will be happy to work with you and the lodge manufacturer to make any changes to the specification of the lodge tailored to your requirements. Please always ask!
