A pioneer in timber lodges, Pinelog has launched a bold new addition to its luxury lodge portfolio - The Orryn. Designed to balance timeless craftsmanship with a strikingly modern look, this latest creation brings together sustainability, durability, and contemporary style in a way that sets it apart.
The name “Orryn” reflects its connection to the natural world, with a subtle nod to “ore” - a hint at its distinctive combination of timber and metal. The result is a lodge that feels rooted in nature, yet confidently forward-looking.
From the outside, the Orryn makes a powerful first impression. Natural wood cladding is wrapped with standing seam metal for a sleek, eye-catching finish. Its bold roofline extends outward to create sheltered decking, turning outdoor space into a year-round retreat. With walls and roof blending seamlessly, the design achieves both practicality and visual impact.
Step inside, and the contemporary design continues. An open-plan layout is subtly zoned by a central media wall, creating space for togetherness as well as quiet corners. The interior reflects the growing demand for lodges that are as stylish as they are comfortable, offering flexibility for families, couples, or groups.
Created in collaboration with designer Lloyd Harden, the Orryn has been carefully considered with both park operators and holidaymakers in mind. Its robust yet elegant exterior, glass-panel balustrades, and extended roofline not only look great but also provide practical shelter for hot tubs and outdoor seating. With Instagram appeal built into the design, it’s a lodge that helps operators stand out in a competitive market. As with all Pinelog lodge designs, the Orryn can be tailored to individual park requirements. Options range from bespoke layouts and additional bedrooms to accessible features and utility spaces, ensuring every lodge meets both operator and guest expectations.
The Orryn now sits alongside Pinelog favourites such as the Woodsman, Vista, Skyline, Essence, and Glade. These lodges are already a familiar sight in parks and private developments across the UK, trusted for their quality and longevity.

Pinelog is a leading designer and manufacturer of luxury timber lodges and buildings, boasting 50 years of experience designing and building timber buildings for a variety of settings, including holiday parks and private land owners.
The family-owned business was originally established in Bakewell, Derbyshire, in 1974. In 2023 the business relocated to new premises at Sheepbridge Works in Chesterfield. The new 36,000sq ft industrial unit has enabled Pinelog to bring its production process under one roof.
