Linda Barker brings impeccable interior styling to Lissett Homes’ new Nirvana

Award-winning interior designer Linda Barker has partnered with leading UK manufacturer Lissett Homes to create Nirvana, the latest model in their range of bespoke luxury park and leisure homes. Linda’s eclectic mix of quintessential English style and contemporary influences can be clearly seen inside the two-bedroom, two-bathroom Nirvana, where quaint meets cutting edge.

Smooth, knot-free cedar adorns the front of the exterior, along with Marley Cedral fibre cement board cladding in a pastel duck egg hue, giving Nirvana a country-cottage feel. Step inside and Linda’s styling boasts in-vogue fixtures, fittings and colour palettes, along with contrasting state-of-the-art technology.

The Nirvana’s style perfectly complements the finest materials. Internal shaker-style doors are constructed from lacquered oak with Heritage brass nickel door handles.

Flexible living is at the heart of Nirvana. The open-plan lounge flows seamlessly into the dining area and kitchen. Bi-fold doors run the entire width of the home, providing an abundance of natural light and indoor-outdoor space, perfect for lazy summer days.

A fully-vaulted ceiling, with Velux skylights, creates a bright, light and airy ambience, which is aided by the LED recessed downlighters that are installed throughout the Nirvana and featuring a striking herringbone tiled wall, complete with contemporary Zehnder vertical radiators.

The Nirvana is equipped with a Tu Piel electric sofa and swivel chair, digitally controlled Velux windows and in built TV and music systems.

The kitchen features a superior Bushboard Evolve shadow touch kitchen worktop, with high-quality matt black Crosswater MPRO taps and state-of-the-art black Bosch appliances, including an electric hob top with in-built extractor fan, and Zip Celsius kitchen tap, which provides filtered hot water instantly.

Groceries and pantry essentials can be discreetly stored away in the neat carousel and larder unit, whilst bottles of wine and champagne can be stored in the specially-designed cooler.

Timeless designer furniture, such as the Calligraris dining suite and breakfast bar stools, meets sophisticated soft furnishings, which include curtains and blinds from luxury brand Romo as seen in the gallery at the foot of this page.

Spacious living spaces are not at the expense of valuable storage. The main bedroom comes complete with a walk-in dressing room, with hanging space and smooth-running drawers for clothes and accessories and a spacious en-suite shower room.

For the epitome of comfort, the Nirvana has Wheatcroft 3000 pocket sprung Opulence beds, along with Zip link beds in the second bedroom, giving flexible sleeping options - ideal for welcoming guests.

Using cutting-edge materials, precision engineering techniques and extensive construction expertise, each Nirvana is built to far exceed the British Residential standard of BS3632.

The Nirvana’s roof has a U value of 0.15 W/M²K, the walls a U value of 0.30 W/M²K, and the floor is 0.29 W/M²K. These excellent levels of insulation, coupled with double glazing, ensure warmth in the home all year round. Gas central heating is delivered through an Oso 180-litre tank and system boiler, making the Nirvana cosy and comfortable.
