Bluewood Lodges

Spent a lovely 4 nights at new year in Sunset Lodge, our 3rd visit to Bluewood Lodges, a warm welcome with a glass of fizz. Sunset lodge is so peaceful, enjoyed the hot tub & the lovely views of the winter sunset, the lodge is equipped with everything you need & so warm & comfortable, we will definitely be returning again, thanks for a wonderful stay!

Had a relaxing, peaceful time here which was exactly what we needed! Stayed in Sunset Lodge which was lovely, clean and had everything that we needed! The little private gazebo was the perfect place to drink your coffee and watch the squirrels and birds. Check in was easy and easy to find!

Fantastic experience ! All the staff were superb, very friendly & couldn’t do enough to help ! Not that we needed any, as everything was spot on. Have already booked another two Lodges & am really looking forward to it. Great experience x

On our arrival at Bluewood Lodges we were greeted by a very helpful and friendly lady who offered us a white wine spritzer which we accepted and enjoyed whilst checking in. Our lodge was immaculate and fully equipped with everything we needed for our week's holiday. We used the cooker a few times and this worked fine. The beds were very comfortable and the hot tub was excellent, used every day !! We walked to Churchill and across the fields to Kingham. The Lodges are ideally situated for Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the water and Cirencester. All members of staff we met were helpful and friendly. Recycling and rubbish areas were emptied regularly and the whole area around the Lodges was well maintained. We stayed in Churchill lodge.

WOW WOW WOW We are a couple who use Lodges frequently. I was surprised to find the Bluewood Lodges as I had not seen them before. I was a bit sceptical because they are less than half the price of our normal company we use. However we needed a break so went with the Bluewood Lodges and hoped for the best. WOW is all I can say from the moment we entered reception and booked in we were treated like individuals and the personal touches they had was unbelievable. Harvey who checked us in was really friendly and welcoming. We then went to our lodge. We stayed in the Sunset Lodge. We were speechless. It was amazing totally secluded. The view was absolutely stunning. I am not someone to go on about cleanliness as these lodges are used all the time and I have the mindset as long as it is clean that is fine. However this lodge was sooooo clean we felt like it was brand new and we were the first person in the lodge. It is in the countryside so we always expect a cobweb. But there was not one cobweb inside or outside. The cooker looked brand new it was that clean. The lodge was simple and elegant and it served all of our needs. All the utensils were available and clean which honestly is amazing. The Hot tub was so clean and warm for our arrival no waiting required. The pictures they have on the walls add to the ambience of the place for couples. I was also very impressed with the fact they have glass champagne flutes and not plastic something simple but perfect. We took an extra towel as we wanted one for the hot tub and one for the shower. I had read this on a previous review. So I would recommend taking an extra towel if you want to keep your towels separate. The lodge has blankets and pillows for you to use in the pagoda so no need to take extras. I cannot thank the staff enough for a clean and lovely lodge to stay in. I loved it so much I was very sad to leave and I am already looking to book to come back in April. If you are considering booking I highly recommend the Bluewood lodges and cannot stop talking about our stay. 5 stars just is not enough for this place.
