From the head of the Whicham Valley and overlooked by the magnificent Black Combe Fell, it is just a few minutes from two of England's most beautiful beaches and towns which have remained unchanged for a hundred years.

After a day out touring or walking the fells, what could be better than the home-from-home comfort of your own Norwegian Lodge set in mature woodland and gardens. How to get there

Exit the M6 at junction 36 (A590). After 1.5 miles exit dual carriageway signposted Barrow. Follow road for approximately 18 miles exit right signposted Greenodd, Millom. Follow road for approximately 15 miles (A595). Approach fork in the road (left to Millom) but continue straight on and pick up signs for Brockwood Hall. You are 1 mile away, follow signs for Brockwood Hall, exit left on farm road, resort entrance is at the top of the hill on the left.
