Even closer (only 300 metres from the park exit) is the village of Haverigg offering a Londis shop, a couple of pubs, post office and fish and chip shop.

Port Haverigg Holiday Village is a distinctive waterside destination near Millom on the Cumbrian coast, close to the edge of the Lake District. Set beside a large freshwater lake, it offers a relaxed and open setting that suits guests who enjoy nature, space and coastal scenery.

The holiday lodges at Port Haverigg are comfortable and well placed around the lake, with many offering peaceful water views and outdoor decking areas. Inside, the lodges provide practical, self catered accommodation designed for easy and relaxed stays, whether you are visiting for a short break or a longer holiday.

Dog friendly lodges are available, making this a great choice if you want to bring your dog along to enjoy coastal walks and open spaces together. With plenty of room to explore nearby, it is well suited to guests travelling with pets.

The freshwater lake is the heart of the village and is popular for a range of water based activities including paddleboarding and other water sports. There is also an on site bar and restaurant overlooking the water, along with a children’s play area, giving the park a friendly and laid back feel.

A stay at Port Haverigg puts you within walking distance of long sandy beaches and close to nature reserves ideal for walking and wildlife spotting. The Lake District National Park is also within easy reach, offering dramatic landscapes, lakes and traditional Cumbrian towns to explore.

If you are looking for lodges to rent in Cumbria that combine lakeside living, coastal access and dog friendly accommodation, Port Haverigg Holiday Village offers a refreshing and memorable base for your next break.
