We are 1 mile from the local town of Millom, where you will be able to get all of your daily essentials, takeaway meals, etc.

Even closer (only 300 metres from the park exit) is the village of Haverigg offering a Londis shop, a couple of pubs, post office and fish and chip shop.

Port Haverigg is a true gem, a unique holiday park like no other. Boasting over 230 Holiday Homes and Lodges, it truly has everything to offer with its idyllic walks, Nature Reserve and conservation area, and long golden beaches. Our 200 acre fresh water private lake is not only stunning but also the only lake in the Lake District and Cumbria with NO speed restrictions, meaning this is a watersport enthusiast's ‘dream come true’, along with its very own inflatable Aqua park for everyone to enjoy.

If you are planning to take your next holiday in Cumbria, then Port Haverigg is your perfect destination. This stunning park is located just outside Millom, on the Cumbrian coastline, just touching the western lakes area.

The park itself is very well situated and has views to offer to suit most people’s needs. It is cleverly laid out with almost two thirds of the park's plots having views of the water, all with generous grounds and parking bays around, with the other third of the plots looking up to the Black Combe, one of the Lake District's most famous southerly peaks.

The park has two entrances, one that takes you onto the main park and down to the secure boatyard and one at the other end of the park that will either take you down to the Ski School and Ski Bar or into the heart of the park.

The Park has a great 'family feeling' to it and a real community feeling to it too. When it is time to relax and get refreshments the Ski Bar is available with all the trappings of a great traditional bar, and for those wishing to have fun in the Aqua Park, The Ski School provides the equipment, safety and boats for your fun and enjoyment. Want some fun with the kids?  Not a problem. Banana boat rides are available and the kids will love them. Port Haverigg is the ultimate family friendly holiday destination. There is always something happening on the lake, whether it is a family having some fun or learning to ski or a high profile competition.  Just recently a high profile Ride and Slide took place in which the UK champion competed. If only for the amazing water sports on offer here the park is worth a visit.

The locality around the park consists of the town of Millom and the village of Haverigg. Leave the park by the Ski Bar’s entrance and, within a five minute walk, you have what “The Mirror” rated as the UK’s 3rd Best Hidden Beach, with miles of stunning sand, dunes and gorgeous coastline. Here you will find a fantastic park for the kids and a beach cafe. Further up the coast, there is also the local rugby club. The town of Millom is small but has all you need: banks, supermarkets, petrol station, takeaways and more.

The lake is not only home to all the water sports activity but also boasts the RSPB Hodbarrow Nature Reserve which is well worth exploring, whilst on the other side is the Irish Sea and some fantastic coastline.

Within a 35 minute drive you can be at Coniston Water, the infamous lake where a world record attempt went fatally wrong. And a little further you can be at Lakeland Motor Museum and Donald Campbell tribute or Lakeside with the steam trains, aquarium and boat rides. Lake Windermere is only 1 hour's drive from the park as well as the stunning town of Ambleside.

With fantastic walks, water sport and outdoor adventures, Port Haverigg can offer the adventure you want or be the quiet retreat you need, as we are far enough away to be relaxing or close enough to help you fulfill your adventures.

Our park is home to a varied selection of Holiday Homes and Luxury Lodges to suit everyone’s needs. The park is located within 50 minutes of the M6 and the scenery will leave you speechless. It is simply breath taking.
